How do I prevent Fennec from launching itself at boot time? (new “feature” with v65.0 with new icon)
What do you mean by autostart? I don’t think I have such a thing…?
Simply this: Fennec v65 launches itself at boot time, Fennec v64 does not.
Still not sure what you mean by launches at boot-time. You mean you restart your phone, unlock it and fennec is active activity, not your phone launcher? I’ve never seen any app do that for me.

Device: Xperia X + SailfishX
Android version: AlienDalvik 1.0.63 = Android 4.4.4 (API 19)
This is not a Firefox feature, as <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED" /> is not included in the app manifest
Check your system settings…
Are you sure? I do see android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED if I scan org.mozilla.fennec_fdroid_650110.apk with aapt.
