Duh, yeah, thanks! Half asleep here :slight_smile:

I actually use Brave browser. It’s open source and chromium based. Also blocks ads and trackers.

DuckDuckGo is also great.

Hi Soren, you have a great browser.
I want to suggest you to add text reflow and printing/save as PDF features to Privacy Browser.
thanks in advance.

Regarding text reflow see Feature #158: Text Reflow - Privacy Browser Android - Stoutner - Redmine.

In answer to saving as PDF, some browsers incorporate a PDF generator into their code. The down side to doing so is that it increases the attack surface of the browser and adds one more potential avenue for exploitation. As such, is not something I would likely consider adding to Privacy Browser. I have written extensively about this topic at Minimizing Privacy Browser’s Attack Surface – Stoutner. If at some point the Android operating system were to add native convert to PDF functionality that were accessible to an app with one click I would incorporate it without reservation. Until then, any website can be converted to PDF by selecting Page > Print > Save as PDF.

Brave browser

I am not sure if Brave on Android is fully free.

DuckDuckGo is also great.

I’ve been loving Mull browser! For me, it’s ideal—more secure than Fennic and Firefox, but more convenient than Tor. Thank you!

I’ve long wished for a way to use Tor browser with the option to disable Tor network routing. Mull is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Anyone else who uses and enjoys Mull, consider upvoting my feature request over at the Bitwarden community to get Mull auto-fill support added to the open source Bitwarden password manager.

Can someone make a option in the webview webbrowsers that the user can choose what system webviewer engine they want to use if the user have installed different webview engines like bromite systemwebview.

@superuser2

choose what system webviewer engine

I do not believe that is possible, at least not without an added framework to do so on the system side of things.

@superuser2
I guess It had an option of choosing in Developer Options. But I would recommend to use the default.

Compare to other, @sorenstoutner Privacy Browser is really good.
But i try to watch videos (cannot remember) it will not play it redirect.
I will enabled javascript, cookies, dom storage and removed ad block also.
When try with other browser it will play with same link.
When try to find because of http referer.
Http Referer is important for privacy for some times it needed for some sites for work properly.
Is any possible way to add http referer switch as like as cookies or javascript.

Any one please tell the website which only work when http referer available

What is an example of a URL where the video will not play?
