Hi. I have an older Redmi Note 4 running MIUI latest available for the device in front of me. F-Droid was working until recently. I did a fresh install of F-Droid but no luck. Error message talking about handshake failed for SSL?

maybe you can get a newer Android like crDroid.net - Download crDroid v7 for Redmi Note 4 (mido) eventually

Been there and downloaded the version A6 to no avail 
Should I go further back in time… maybe Kitkat?
Will install LOS later but need to unlock first hence some newer stuff from F-Droid needed.
