I have a question about how F-Droid handles Fastlane screenshots.
I recently updated the screenshots of my app in:
fastlane/metadata/android/en-US/images/phoneScreenshots/
I replaced the old screenshots with new ones, but on the F-Droid page I now have both the old screenshots and the new screenshots displayed.
It seems that F-Droid is keeping the old images even though they are no longer present in the Fastlane directory.
I found a few older forum posts mentioning that this is a known issue when screenshots are deleted/renamed instead of replaced with the same filenames.
So I would like to understand:

How exactly does F-Droid sync/copy the Fastlane screenshots?

Is it expected that deleted/renamed screenshots remain on the F-Droid side?

What is the correct way to completely replace my existing screenshots?

Do I need to open an issue somewhere to have the old screenshots manually removed?
I would appreciate any clarification, because right now the F-Droid page shows duplicates: the old screenshots + the new ones.
