F-Droid basic on startpage f-droid.org?

New users see on the startpage just the original F-Droid app. Is F-Droid basic stable? Could it be recommended, too? I guess for several new users it would be an advantage to use the auto update available for android 13+.

Basic is more of a testing ground than a distinct client.

Its purpose/scope is yet to be defined, but is deemed as stable as the full Client.

So for Android 12 or later you can recommend it for now :wink:
