I have recently installed F-droid basic version 2.0 RC0 from regular f-droid but the permissions dropdown has disappeared from this version and I am confused on why it has disappeared and I prefer all permissions being shown so I know that I can trust the app. Does anyone know why this has happened. Thanks.

Disappeared from where? You can see all app permissions in your android settings.
Long press app icon → App info → Permissions → 3 dot menu → All permissions

I mean when you look on android apps page on F-droid before installing it.
The new version does not have a permissions dropdown for all apps.

Yup, not included for now, this needs some major rethinking and design.
