Mostly just looking for an app or setting to turn off notifications while driving.
Does one exist in the FLOSS community?
Android 5.0 adds a Do Not Disturb mode, which can even be configured to allow select contacts through and has a time option to disable automatically.
@SkewedZeppelin I apologize, I have LineageOS but have not used an official Android release.

No worries if it doesn’t exist, but figured i woukd post here if anyone had found a FLOSS workaround for the time being.
Do Not Disturb is a standard feature in Android including any vendor variants or community solutions like LineageOS. Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb
LineageOS even has a Profiles feature that lets you change a handful of other options at the same time. Settings > System > System profiles
