Does SAI (Split APK Installer) parse the target SDK

Hello

Im trying to install a recent App on an old Android 7 (for testing purposes only)

Unfortunately during the “installation” of the split APK’s, com.aefyr.sai.fdroid_60 says:
“There was a problem parsing the package”

Question:
Does SAI check if the APK is built(compatible) for the Android to be installed on?

Thank’s in advance!

PS
If I try to install the same APK on Android 14, everything works fînd without error message.

you can “share” that APK to App Manager - Android package manager | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository and you can Explore it or Install it or whatever

Do you really mean “App Manager” is able to install Split-APK?s?

Didn’t try, but… it can read info on minSDK so you at least can check that…

Yes, since v2.5.13. Please use “Ctrl+F” or “Find in page” to search keyword specific queries there.
