The date of databases is funny
@DwainZwerg Thanks for the mention. I still need help
@rafnov I didn’t noticed this when testing, thanks for the report. Created Issue
Sorry or the delayed reply. I see this information was already passed along.
Hypatia has a new maintainer group. Right now the discussions are on GitHub. The databases have been functional since at least 13 Feb 25.
Thx for the info. Testing.
How is it working?
Good afternoon:
I apologize for reporting the error here. But I didn’t know how to comment it.
If I download Hypatia from the github, it still shows the date of the 1970 signatures.
You have to change things as indicated in Bug: File Dates shows 1970 · Issue #2 · MaintainTeam/HypatiaDatabases · GitHub
But these options appear: Screenshot-20250318-213726-Hypatia hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB
But to accept the change you have to press: Screenshot-20250318-213759-Hypatia hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB (Override)
Wouldn’t it be better to change the Override button to Accept. Since it can lead to errors?
And I also try to pass Hypatia. But it comes out: Screenshot-20250318-220129-Hypatia hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB . With all permissions granted: Screenshot-20250318-220219-Permission-controller hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB
I already tried installing and uninstalling the application five times. Clearing the cache. Clearing the data.
A hug and thanks for your time
The default settings should work great on the latest rolling/auto nightly release. Notifications were just fixed, java was updated and a few more things. It uses much less RAM now from my testing
Install latest version, update database via button in menu, start scan
Most of the problems should be solved with latest version. Date problem should be solved. Also database loading error is probably because of wrong signing key, added a warning text for it
This is probably not because of any optimization but the number of signatures are less (than original Hypatia by DivestOs)
Couldn’t help but notice you didn’t say Brave. I have some of the other ones that you mentioned . I’m questioning my choice with brave now wondering if I had missed the boat.
Personally I never liked nor will ever like Brave. There is something which my 6th sense tells me not to believe it for anything.
I cannot explain, but I just never trusted it.
Good evening @asandikci
Thank you very much for the work and for your time.
What would be a good idea to include you in the project. Since you are now the ones who maintain the project. And although DivestOS I think it ,pity that this great project has disappeared, you should be included in it. Since thanks to you, we still have a wonderful application with the new signatures
A big hug
Bro is there any chromium fork which u trust? What i have noticed is that in older phones specially, websites load faster in chromium based browsers(tried cromite) than any browser which is gecko based.
