Why does an apk for an app from F-droid and original source ( like github ) have different sizes?
For example, I downloaded blokada apk from github and F-droid. Shown below is the size details for them.

Because the app is not āBuild Reproducibleā.

Sorry for asking but Iām more or less a paranoid guy. I do take great note of such things.
Does the reason have anything to do with the optimisation settings for the software used to build? Iāve only compiled dlls before so Iām a noob when it comes to app building.

Because this is not built by the developers but by F-Droid. So tools versions might not perfectly match up, hence small differences.
