I want to delete my account here, how can I do it? I cannot find the option in the Preferences section.

@staff can do that. I see that you created some posts already. While deleting the account would be possible, I think it might be better to “anonymize” it instead, so that the conversations don’t get lost. Anonymizing an account means that it gets a new, random name and all your information like email address is removed. The post contents stay.
