CrossWords release 202 is broken; suggestions?

I’m the author of this app. Users got in touch shortly after it went live to let me know it was crashing on startup. I’ve fixed the problem and pushed changes to github that the f-droid build system will eventually pick up.

Is there any way to prevent any additional upgrades to the broken release? Is there any status page for the app that I can post a message on for users wondering what’s up? Any other ideas?

currentnext cycle will build new one, so users will get updated to the working one.

but will disappear at the same time as the new one comes
