Confusion on F-Droid Basic Download Page

I’m a fan of the F-Droid Basic client and prefer it over the standard version.I love its minimalist design, which focuses on the essential features I need.

However, I have noticed an issue when visiting the F-Droid Basic page at F-Droid Basic | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository – it directs users to download the standard F-Droid client. This is the default for all app pages, but it could confuse users specifically seeking F-Droid Basic.

The website is for convenience only, we recommend the use of the Client to get info on new apps and timely updates notifications.

The big button is for the Client, not the app packages… for those you nee to scroll lower.

/PS: why do you like Basic more?

When I like an app on F-droid and share the link of that app with my friends they click on the big download button and download the client instead.

Which is what we want, yes… we don’t want to abandon users to some version they installed back in 2018 'cause the app was free here and paid on Play (true stories!)
