If your mobile device is a PinePhone, get the “convergence dock” and connect it.

If your phone supports OTG: connect an otg cable, then connect an usb to lan adapter and lastly just plug the lan cable into the adapter and you should have access to the www.

Gnirehtet[1] has worked well for me. You’ll have to go through a pc that is connected via ethernet and then share that connection with your phone via USB.
