Calorimeter - taking picture feature won't take pictures

I’m looking for an ai-powered utility to simply let me upload pictures of food and it will identify the food and estimate its calories. I was using the website WhatTheFood.io, which was working well, until they came out with a paid version, and the free version stopped working for me.

Not looking for one that wants to put me on their whole diet plan management system, just a simple utility for identifying food and counting calories.

I installed Calorimeter, but when I go to take a picture, it opens the camera, but there seems to be no way of actually taking the picture. I have tried tapping on the picture repeatedly, pressing the bottom of the screen where the button would be if it was the actual camera app, but nothing works.

What’s the purpose of the Making sure you’re not a bot! link?

Yes.

That’s the place you report issues with that app

There’s a place to sign-in, but no place to make an account.

Will ping the dev…

Do you got feedback from dev?
