Regarding the DivestOS stuff. Just confused. Are we asking to promote divestos or stop/ask it to be low on its promotion?
I can see on opinionplatform regarding divest and its evasive manners. I am not against promoting stuffs, but too much promotion to earn full time money on it while actually working only couple of hours is not right.

Reference: DivestOS on forums etc.

> It would be good for the board to look at censorship at f-droid forums, promoting DivestOS, and banning or going along with banning people in xmpp channels, by Licaon Kter. I represent opinionplatform.org, and have been censored and banned. I believe it is because I do not go along with promoting DivestOS.

Clarification: is this a forum ban appeal and/or a wider request?

FYI, I would try to join the call, hopefully. :slightly_smiling_face:

BTW: I remember, I was able to access issue 483 (mentioned on the agenda), but I cannot access it any further.

Why do you think I only work a couple hours when I work every day on it and contribute to many other projects along the way?

There is even a time breakdown in the “Time spent for maintenance of projects” section of Donate - Divested Computing
And it is quite conservative, eg. kernel work is noted as every 10 days but you can see commit history where sometimes it is every 3 days: divested-mobile/kernel_patches - Codeberg.org

I am not thinking it. As I mentioned, it is written/described on opinionplatform. Hence my query above.

Thank you for writing, @vdbhb59. The meeting minutes from the June Board of Directors meeting haven’t been published yet, but we did discuss this topic at that point. If you are on the Jitsi today I will make sure to give a summary of this discussion; I’ll also post here on the forum as soon as possible.

I tried to dial in, but kept getting connection troubles. :face_with_peeking_eye:

opinionplatform got banned on some XMPP channels and this looked more like “a way to punish L_K by involving their employer”

Lol, it is very difficult in today’s world to determine what is what, who is who, etc.,.
