Application without trackers to watch videos and music

Good afternoon:

I wanted to ask you which video player (in multiple formats) and audio player (in multiple formats). Do you recommend me?

It is for a relative who says that vlc does not suit him. For audio I found raag in fdroid. And he likes it.

A hug and thanks for your help and time.

Why? mpv maybe? mpv-android | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository

Good afternoon @anon88801960

Why you don’t like it for Android. Well according to him, because it has many permissions that he does not see logical for a player. Since I look at the application of fdroid and saw VLC | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository . And even if I explained to him he said no. Also if you use it on Linux and Windows. And no problem.

But for his mobile he does not see it, he does not like it. I can’t tell you exactly.

Rare hobby maybe, I can’t tell you the exact cause.

I comment to him the one that you tell me to have that he says. He already told me it was weird like that jajajjajajajaj

Thanks a lot for your help and your time.

Vanilla and VLC ftw.

I think I know what he means and I completely understand where he is coming from too.
Ask him to try Vinyl Music Player - Vinyl Music Player | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository for Audio files & Just (Video) Player - Just (Video) Player | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository for his video needs.
Odyssey Music Player - Odyssey Music Player | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository is also very good for audio files.

I use Vinyl Music Player and as for Video Players there aren’t many with features like VLC. Can try Nova Video Player, MPV, or Just Player though.

Personally my favorite used to be MXPlayer lol I wish there was a FOSS version of that with all garbage removed.
