I am looking for this app:
Or rather the port to android
https://sourceforge.net/p/passwdsafe/wiki/Home/
The wikipedia page for pwsafe provides a link for the f-droid package, but the page doesn’t seem to exist (anymore?)
Password Safe is a free and open-source password manager program originally written for Microsoft Windows but supporting wide area of operating systems with compatible clients available for Linux, FreeBSD, Android, IOS, BlackBerry and other operating systems as well.
The Linux version is available for Ubuntu (including the Kubuntu and Xubuntu derivatives) and Debian. A Java-based version is also available on SourceForge. On its page, users can find links to unofficial releases running under Andr...
As far as I can tell, the android version is open source.
Is there a specific reason why it’s not available on f-droid?
Thank you

Thanks for your reply.
I didn’t realise there were non-free components in the software.
I looked at the app you pointed to, the description makes it sound like it’s very different, but it can indeed open the pwsafe files. I will try using it and see if it works for me.
Thanks again!
