Hi, I am going to update from 11 and curious what experiences people made with F-Droid apps, what can be expected to break etc.
In general, Android has very good backwards compatibility support and apps that don’t target Android 12 just won’t opt in to some of the new features/security limitations and work fine.
I’d suggest looking at the issue tracker for apps you care about and putting “Android 12” in the search bar to see if anyone reported any Android 12 specific issues for apps you care about, but generally, I wouldn’t expect much breakage.
