Hey so I have 2 questions:
-1: I couldn’t find much info on how adult content is treated here. If I have a game that is lets say, 90% story driven with the option for 10% of it to have some erotic events (think like a book with with digital pictures of rendered characters in Blender and Daz). Is that allowed?
-2: While somehow I’ve managed to code together a decent game, my coding skills are a bit amateur and I’m kinda confused on how to get my game uploaded on the site. For example, I have data in github for my game, but it doesn’t have any of the photos, videos, etc because that would be around 2gb of data. Additionally, I need to package the app in a renpy engine to generate the APK. So I guess what I’m asking is how do I add my game when it requires a tool to package it into an apk?
Given the legal environment around the world an adult theme game might not be easy to include.
Can it be set to non-adult by default and have users enable that rest on their own?
It’s choice based, so all adult scenes are avoidable
There are already similar apps (e.g. manga readers with adult content as an option or their primary focus) on F-Droid, they are marked with the NSFW Anti-Feature and I think hidden by default in the official F-Droid client apps.
Check KSRE. It has an option for adult content which is disabled by default. And it’s also built on renpy.
Their website says it doesn’t have NSFW content in it on the F-Droid version?
I don’t think so. There is an option in the settings.
Hmm well appreciate the help, but I don’t really know how to upload a renpy game to f-droid. Especially when the repo is just unbundled renpy code and missing all the imagery and stuff
