Is blockada the only adblocker here for non rooted xperia l1? It won’t block ads on http://www.peoplesrepublicofcork.com/forums/ . Anyone know why this would be?

I use lightning browser, which has a rudimentary adblocker intrgrated.
NetGuard can load hosts file too.
I recommend DNS66.
Blockada is only a code stealed app based on DNS66 and had google on whitelist by default on ealier version

I still use AdAway, it works for me.

AdAway only works if rooted, which was not part of the question. DNS66 is ok.
You are spreading disinformation. Adhell 2 absolutely works without root. You are fake news.
