Adaway app issue with Android 8 mobile hotspot

After updated my galaxy C9 pro phone to android 8,adaway app cause mobile hotsopt Tethering to turned off immediately and have to disable adaway every time to use tethering, could you please inform how to fix it

Report this upstream please, to the app devs ( https://github.com/AdAway/AdAway/issues ), F-Droid just builds the app.

I just installed AdClear. I’m disappointed it does not stop ads popping-up in the game Criminal Case played via FB on my Android mobile phone.

It can’t, I guess, since ads are delivered via Facebook. Not sure why you use Facebook if you dislike ads.

I also faced this issue on my Pixel 2 running on android 8.1 but after the android 9.0 Pie update it got fixed automatically.
