Access to pgn files impossible in Droidfish

I installed successfully Droidfish on my Samsung Tab s6.
But I have no access to the pgn files installed on the the tab nor do these files appear in Droidfish/pgn folder if I copy them there.
So what to do to get access on the pgn files via Droidfish

Did you give it Storage permissions?
