I downloaded fennec and attempted to play some DRM protected content but it failed.
It doesn’t has DRM permission in the site permission settings.
Why can’t fennec do it.
Is there a FOSS alternative that can play DRM protected content ?

Is DRM even FOSS compatible?
I don’t know how it works man.
This DRM thing is annoying.
I mean isn’t it possible for someone to make a software that behaves as a browser that allows downloading or copying DRM content?
And the servers would have no idea about it.
On Android the system provides the Widevine DRM module.
Browsers merely interact with it.
But most uses of DRM will block usage on mobile browsers in favor of their mobile apps instead.
It should technically work in most Chromium and Gecko browsers however.
