8-Bit Wonders is glitching badly

I wanted to alert everybody about this: You can’t save games from the Internet Archive to 8-Bit Wonders anymore, on all versions. I don’t know why it was changed, because I was able to save games directly to 8-Bit Wonders, but now with them no longer working, a modification might be required. So 8-Bit Wonders, unfortunately, will have to be declared unusable for the time being…

Really a shame that the glitch appeared randomly.

I don’t have an account at GitLabs, so reporting upstream isn’t possible for me. Plus, I already have enough accounts to juggle around, I don’t want to add more and make it impossible to stay on all of them.

So technically, it’s not solved at all.

Technically we can’t fix it, also you did not provide enough info, how to reproduce the error, pics, etc for someone else to report.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t produce logs. So, that isn’t going to work very well…Plus since all versions are affected, it’s impossible to get the original system to work at all, so screenshots aren’t possible either.

Wat? Explain what the problem is, take screenshots of THE ISSUE… explain what you press, what you do, what it should do but it doesn’t…

Before 2026, it was possible to save games from the Internet Archive directly into 8-Bit Wonders, allowing you to shortcut to the games, so you wouldn’t have to fumble around on the Internet Archive just to play a Commodore 64 game, but, something changed as 2026 was beginning, and I tried running a saved game on 8-Bit Wonders, and it didn’t load at all, it just brought me to the C64 screen as if no game was inserted. I checked the browser that is included with 8-Bit Wonders, and the save feature was completely missing! I tried other versions that were similar (8.8 & 8.9) and there was nothing resembling a save feature…I have no idea what triggered it…

It states clearly that it’s implemented, but when I’m in the browser…

It’s not there at all (Ignore the Favorite, it’s part of the Internet Archive itself, plus, ignore the obvious copyrighted material, I had to rush these screenshots, but I have none from when it was able to save games)
