I don’t know why, but Appteka isn’t accepting my Proton Email, that’s a problem because I have a small chunk of apps that could be uploaded there. I do want more people to witness the apps I collected. Hopefully to bring more attention to applications that either don’t care about Google Play Services, or apps that are practically exclusive to Google Play Store, yet need additional attention to hopefully create an F-Droid version.

Well, I finally disabled Google Play Services on 3 more of my devices, including my T901 tablet that I reserved for Gaming. So with 5 devices no longer using Google Play Services, I’m at a dead end because my Summit 5G is stuck in a situation: Walmart for sure works without Google Play Services, but AT&T Smart Home Manager is highly questionable, and that is what’s stopping me from disabling Google Play Services on the Summit 5G. If only we knew if it works or not…

Can you enlighten us with your definition of free speech and how it is legally implemented in a user forum? I think you misunderstand what free speech means.
The fact is: Criticism is important, if an individual hates Material design, then app developers need to take those into consideration, or there will be individuals left behind, I hate Material design now because Google is trying their hardest to force it on us, and M3E just sucks, one of the worst designed UIs in Android history, yet Obtainium and many other FOSS apps are just casually moving into M3E or even M3 without knowing the potential consequences if Google realizes they could slip Telemetry, Ads, or even malware into the Material UI, which then would cause serious issues, and would easily stop FOSS projects. I’m actively fighting against Material design, because it’s owned by Google as well.
But, as the admins of both the NewPipe Matrix & here on F-Droid’s Forums are hinting at: They obviously don’t want criticism, but developers need criticism in order to make good decisions. Shutting off criticism only means that positive feedback works, and that inevitably leads to Enshittification through lack of criticism. Google is receiving tons of criticism over their actions, but Google is proactively silencing criticism, that’s why Android Developer Verification is still happening even though 70+ organizations are fighting against that. Plus now that Google has added the dreaded Age Attestation API to Android, it’s only a matter of time before Stock Android devices no longer are allowed to be jailbroken without verifying your Age through a Government-issued ID, a Facial Scan, Fingerprint Scan and a valid Google account for Google to store it all on their highly vulnerable servers…That’s what happens when criticism is ignored.
Even worse, I had a separate post regarding shutting down Google’s Material Hegemony, unfortunately F-Droid’s Administrators illegally merged it as “Off-topic” yet it’s fully it’s own topic that seriously needs to be discussed, and I’m still DEMANDING a reversal of their post merging, there is no need for an exclusively Off-topic post dump.
If you want to criticise, please do that directly with the developer or at their repo. Continuously posting in various threads here and posioning everyone is not appreciated. I have made mistakes too in the past and learnt from those. You and couple of others here do not wish to, and keep on spamming like this. Please do not take undue advantage of our patience and tolerance.
Also, please STOP poisioning.
