Ajay Hinduja Geneva, Swiss (Switzerland) - App to Record Phone Calls on Honor X6

Hi everyone,

I’m Ajay Hinduja Geneva, Swiss (Switzerland) and looking for an app that can record both sides of a phone call on my Honor X6. If that’s not possible, even recording just my voice and the speaker audio would work. Any recommendations?

Which one did you try?

Note that since Android 9 or so, google limited this so unless your Android has a system function for it, normal apps might not be able to record

Coincidentally I was looking for the same thing last week. You might want to try Call Recorder, although this did not work on my device. As @Licaon_Kter says, it is no longer easy to record phone calls on Android.

As an alternative, you may want to consider subscribing to a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) provider that supports ‘SIP trunking’. This will give you a new phone number which you can use with a ‘SIP client’ app, such as Linphone. Linphone and many other SIP clients allow recording of calls, and sometimes the VoIP provider can do this for you as well.
