Will the next version of IceCat still work on 4x versions of Android?

I really prefer Firefox based browsers. My understanding is that icecat mobile is built from FF ESR. My Firefox ESR on my desktop computer just upgraded to 60.0.2 Quantum, and Quantum based Firefox stopped working on 4x Android last year.
