Why f-droid repo added?

Hello,

I installed nextcloud and keepassdx via f-droid, by clicking on the link on their website linking to f-droid. Why did it offer to add the following repositories (see photo), which are hosted on f-droid.org? The two apps are already in the main f droid repo, and while I understand third party repos, I don’t understand these two as they seem redundant.

Is it a third party repo maintained by the app developer but hosted on f-droid?

Is it a specific repo for the app maintained by f droid in case I want to disable the main repo?

Is it something else?

That is not the correct way of adding repositories.
You can safely remove them.
