Who ships F-Droid? (ROMs, phones, repos, forks, etc.)

Aurora Store app will serve up F-Droid apps. I don’t know if this is directly from the f-droid api or if they copy and serve them from their server.

Aurora does not serve apps.
Aurora Store downloads apps directly from Google Play Store.
Aurora Droid downloads apps directly from F-Droid compatible repos.

Is anyone here familiar with iodéOS and can confirm that they ship F-Droid by default? F-Droid is mentioned on this site: https://iode.tech/en/iodeos-en/ (you’ll have to scroll down a lot, deep linking not possible)

F-Droid has been removed as many applications shipped in it are not compliant with the guidelines for distributions recommended by the FSF. It was kept so long because we expected to get it fixed upstream fast enough, but that didn’t happen for various reasons. We have setup a wiki page and a forum section for more information about the issue and how to deal with it.

Thanks for the hint, removed it from OP.

You can get a FairPhone 4 in the US if you want it bad enough. CalyxOS and DivestOS are available for FP4 now. Warning: It may work less than great on some networks or in some locations.

@uniqx Could this be converted to a wiki here? I think that seems more apropos than just a topic that’ll time out eventually.

@TPS good point, thanks. I converted it to wiki now. (Wasn’t aware of that feature)
