Regarding Google’s Android Developer Verification. I am curious as to how viable is Termux:GUI for developing Android Apps. I have seen full distro’s linux run on Termux. There is no way Google can attempt to verify Linux developers.
Anybody here with experience with Termux and explain the limits of using it to develop Android Apps.

I am just starting to look into it, just last night. As I understand it, Linux apps are executed thru Termux and use Termux:GUI to use the Android UI. Developers can use this approach to stop Google from scanning their apps.

I am browsing Termux related apps right now and found Termux Hub, I guess that’s their apps store, you mean I should go there?

Have you considered the fact that prepaid phones are yours to recreate however you want and that maybe gnu is the way and that nobody really likes Google or Android anyway? There’s lots of alternatives to their OS and the Playstore sucks anyway and is full of spyware and ads anyway? Its actually illegal to hold a monopoly and force anyone to use a particular service or brand without alternative. Didn’t Edward Snowden say something like that once?

Google and Android are corporate entities that are technology fronts for political control over “We the People” unless you don’t like literally anything they try to force on you, then militias (open source devs and organizers) in this context and meaning are magically redefined as “terrorist organizations” and that includes f-droid users…
WTF?
First of all militias are technically constitutional, its the very foundation of the 2nd Amendment. People in general don’t like violence hence the 2nd Amendment has lost some respect. BUT still, militias are the very foundation of the 2nd Amendment.
Second, google has to officially ban apps that can download and execute code. They have to ban web browsers. Because Termux belongs to the same class as a browser. Its a sandbox environment, no harm is being done to the other apps or system.
The US government probably will charge Google for any crime committed under its environment. That is probably what you are talking about. Like if people make apps that run thru termux to evade scanning to commit crimes. Again, termux is in the same class as web-browsers.
Freedom of assembly is protected by the 1st amendment. This should cover chatting in privacy.
If they want to go as far as labeling us as terrorist, then they are committing treason for invalidating the constitution.
BTW, personally I am deprecating Android all together. I simply learned about Termux:GUI and l liked it. Its just been hard to ignore the price convenience on Android devices.

I’ve actually created one and looking for some trustworthy people to help me get it right… Nobody really needs to use Android or Google, there’s still old school tech the way it was built from the beginning and uiu don’t have to buy Android there’s other device’s like Pinephone or just build your own with your own components you bought with your own money. If you will entertain an idea for a minute… A computer is simply just a brain with synapse and electric pulses with various functions that creates as you do when you think of something and wish to create something… I have already built something on this principal and just looking for trustworthy people and parameters…
I was just reminded why I am deprecating Android. I was optimistic with Termux that I decided to install it on my phone. Ran into problems installing from the F-Droid store. It installed fine on the tablet but not on phone. By chance I tried the one on the Google PlayStore (if it shows up there its cause it works right?. And yes, that one does work). Apparently the one on the PlayStore uses a separate code base. Anyways on the change logs you can see all the gymnastics the developer has to do to get it to work. Google can’t be trusted. It has a habit of breaking stuff. Amazon dropped Android on the TV platform. That tells you something. Its best to consider lowering dependence on Google architectures.
Termux works fine, what error did you get?

The error I got was “unable to install bootstrap packages” when I started it up. When I first searched for a fix, the article I found said I needed root access. Because my internet was fine. I then installed the GooglePlay version and it ran just fine.
I guess I prematurely blamed google for breaking stuff. sorry.
No root needed, sounds like a netwerk glitch.
Tried latest Beta too? Expand versions or enable Beta updates in uppper right menu
(Well, you’d have to uninstall Play version)
