Syncthing - two different apk in f-droid client

I have Syncthing version 0.10.13 installed and recently found another version of syncthing (0.14.51.RC2.1). The newer one is build from https://github.com/Catfriend1/syncthing-android repository and cannot be found in web search on f-droid site, only in f-droid app.
Can I trust this newer build?

It’s a fork, there’s a known issue regarding the wrong name.

Thanks! I see the point now. I’m going to stay on original build, as it works perfectly fine on all my devices (three of them are android 8)
