I was wondering if any work or discussion around integrating or adding Sygic mapping app deployment into F-droid. As I continue down the road of de googling, my testing and using of Sygic has produced positive results as a replacement for Waze and Google maps, and so far they only support google play store for deployment. Crossing my fingers, or is there another option that users have tested that is a solid replacement?
There are other map/navigation apps such as Comaps, Graphopper, OSMAnd amongst others which do not rely on Google.

My personal favourite is Comaps because of its simplicity. I download maps of the regions I want to visit beforehand while still in wifi range, after that it works entirely off line.
OSMAnd I find difficult to use because of its complexity. It has so many options that I must spend a lot of time re-learning the app before use.
