OsmAnd.. how to add home/work special points

Hi,

I must be missing something very obvious but perhaps someone can tell me what I am doing wrong?

When hitting the navigation button I get the screen where I can select from and destination points.

Bellow that the uninitialized home and work buttons with add. So I tap home/add and it opens an add home screen where I can enter an address or select a favorite and a few other things. However whatever I select/enter the add home screen disappears and nothing else happens. The home is still undefined.

Looked at the online documentation and issues but couldn’t find any explanation for my problem

That’s it, once you select a favorite, that’s setup for Work

My problem was, I already had a favorite called “home”. It was created or imported long time ago and osmand was exceptionally stupid about it.

Tapping navigation/home asked me to add home, but any attempt to do so did fail silently without any diagnostic or error message.

So the feature was totally unusable until I renamed home into _home, tapped navigation/home again and then I could finally define the special point.
