Multiple apks with same package name

Hi,

I am new to android and came across through multiple apks concept.
Can anyone tell me that is it possible to create an apk for android watch (android wear) and another apk for android phone with same package name?

Yes it is possible but they must have a different version code.

Thanks . I have one more query. Can you tell which Google play filter will be better to use if I want to have multiple apks for a watch and for a phone?

If I remember correctly, Google Play will automatically use the APK that has the android.hardware.type.watch feature in its manifest for Wear OS devices.

(Also, F-Droid does not support Wear OS unfortunately.)
