Link in metadata to other app doesn't work

You can link to another app in the repo by using [[app.id]]. The link will be made appropriately whether in the Android client, the web repo browser or the wiki. The link text will be the apps name.

from https://f-droid.org/en/docs/Build_Metadata_Reference/

However the link to the stable version doesn’t work here. Here’s the metadata: https://github.com/openhab/openhab-android/blob/e2eb52fbcb6af33d56f093b1bba66dbdbe39df04/fastlane/metadata/android/en-US/full_description.txt#L4

I think it only works when the metadata is directly inside the build recipe.

Is this a bug or a security feature? For links to other websites this seems like a usefull security feature, but for links to other F-Droid app it should be allowed.

I think you can use HTML in fastlane metadata so you can add the link manually with something like My link.
F-Droid should recognize this as an F-Droid link and open it inside the app instead of in the browser.
