Known Repositories

My list should have all entries which are in the first post. From time to time I cross-check. I gladly accept pings for what I missed (or when there’s something to add) – though when making mine the “full” one, shouldn’t I have the other details listed along, e.g. fingerprints? Ideas on how to put them into the Markdown table are welcome. I could of course simply add them to the link if I make the link text “clickable” (currently it’s just plain text for copy-paste). Other ideas?

I lack the time. Hardly get the things done at my place(s)…

Sure, just like I do. But maybe there’s an angel reading this line who likes to do this… :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah, these information should be included. Though, I don’t know how much sense it makes to have two instances maintaining the same data. Maybe I’m biased as an admin but wouldn’t it make more sense to focus only on the list here in the forum which everybody can edit? You could then just link/redirect to this page and would have more time to focus on other important tasks.

My list is a blog post I created several years ago, before I found the one in the wiki (not sure which of the two existed first) and which I just try to keep up-to-date. I don’t want to drop that article, and neither to let it “age out”. It also holds references which are hard to maintain here in the forum (it’s “interconnected” with my app lists, for example: just click on one of the app names (Javascript needed for that) to see; also I linked to it from several places).

@Izzy I see, you’ve put a lot of work into that page. That’s really a great addition with that popup. I just wanted to brainstorm on how to get rid of this duplicate information.

Yes, understood. But what’s so bad about having it twice in different formats, with one linking to the other? Always good to have a backup, no?

New user tot the "repo"sysytem…
Is listed here as a potential repo but I have been struggling to make it update past the red “unsigned” notification after copying it into F-Droid 1.7  Tried to make use of the Official Git site & what not but couldn’t figure out how to unzip the files on a Galaxy A8 (2018) running 9-Pie

Kali just came with their " Kali NetHunter App Store" (which does appear to be a copy of both the F-Droid landing page & app) & the repository is:

https://store.nethunter.com/repo

Source: Kali NetHunter App Store

EDIT: Didn’t realize I’d have rights to edit that first post, so I have added the NetHunter repo into the list.

There seems to be a new repo for android/utox https://tox.chat/download.html#fdroid

https://pkg.tox.chat/fdroid/repo/?fingerprint=9F777DD77C7F768269848233CF83D44F5C4FE480D7D5CB1CF32820B23A1AF086

But no “real” update since 2017/2018 https://gitlab.com/fdroid/rfp/issues/658#note_90358074
https://github.com/Antox/Antox/commits/master

Not sure how long I’ll be maintaining it for, but for right now I’m holding the official Tachiyomi extensions at https://tachi.efreakbnc.net/fdroid/repo (url edited)

Could you add the repo of the https://simlar.org app?
It is a encrypted phone app.

I fixed this when I noticed it was broken a while back. Some issue related to using a custom domain and re-enabling the default domain at the same time.

Quick note re: F-Droid nightly repo:
Something about how it’s put together is broken, AFAICT. Both apps are stuck @ v1.7ɑ0-debug as latest versions, though many higher versions are considered downgrades from those.

@TPS url is broken…

It’s a repo link, &, unless otherwise configured on server, can only be useful as a subscription in an F-Droid-compatible client.

I’m not sure who, but thanks to whoever just tweaked the F-Droid nightly repo: both apps just updated to latest w/o incident. :bowing_man:t5:‍♂

Ungoogled chromium repository gives 403 Forbidden

I added Antox repo and Ltt.rs repo.

It’s normal, it’s not meant to be browsed via your usual browser. Try to add it in your F-Droid client instead (Settings -> Repositories -> + -> put the link into the “Repository address” field) and synchronize all the repos, and that’s it, you’ll see the ungoogled apps in your F-Droid client.
