How to get a recent Telegram release?

Hi all,

since a few a days Telegram is warning me the current version is too old and will soon stop working. I checked the updates and there is nothing newer than version 7.0.1 available (screenshot below). Is it possible to obtain a more recent version from F-Droid? If yes, how?

Uninstall and reinstall from f-droid to get latest version.
