Does F-Droid (server and client) have other file format support, such as .xapk and .apkm ?
Did not find any information from the Github repo or from this website.

Not directly, why do you need those?
Maybe use SAI | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository to install them?

I need them because sometimes I encounter such applications, served as XAPKs and APKMs.
The F-Droid client side support is not that critical, as I can indeed use a separate application to install them at the device, like you mention.
But it would be nice to be able to upload those kind of files to the F-Droid server too, and serve those applications from there as well.
