The topic title says it. I don’t have “unstable updates” setting set to on, and yet I’m offered alpha version of the App Manager which doesn’t actually work for me either.
That’s because we didn’t exclude the version with alpha. I’ll fix it.

More info, we don’t (yet ;)) has a way to separate stable from unstable. Future index version is developed now and will hopefully include such a feature.
