I’ve been using the F-Droid android client on my Note 8 for a while now. It was working smooth when my phone was running Android Nougat however that I updated today to latest Android Oreo whenever I open the app it only loads a blank screen on the start up and gradually crashes automatically after a while. Any idea how do I fix it?
I’d try the following step by step always testing in between until the problem is fixed:
- Settings > Apps > F-Droid > clear cache & app data
- Reinstall F-Droid
- Clear system cache in recovery mode
- Reinstall the OS
- Hard reset via recovery mode

Is this the stock ROM, or custom ROM? How did you update the ROM to Oreo? How did you install F-Droid? Which version of F-Droid are you running? Have you tried the latest version?
