Hi Folks,
I just installed the F-Droid Client on my Android 8.1 phone.
As it says in the Topic Title, there are NO Categories being displayed.
Searching for an App produces no results neither.
Pull-to-refresh and download the index first.
In Settings try to slide all the way to the right both Wi-Fi and mobile data

Try to uncheck the F-droid Archive repository on Settings > Manage Repositories. Then refresh the repositories pulling down and see if now there are categories.
If it does not work, try a second time.
I also saw this, and changed 2 things - gave f-droid Storage permission, and hit Disable/Enable on a repository. Seems OK now.
