"Error getting index file"

Hello everyone!

I just bought a fairphone2 and installed fairphoneOS on it.

Everything works super fine, but… I installed the f-droid app and there is no way I can reach the repos. When I try to update, it says: “error getting index file”. I’ve seen the other topics on it but they didn’t help me. One of them said I had to click on “old index format” in the expert mode, I did it but it didn’t work, and so far I don’t have any app appearing in f-droid.

How can I have my apps in f-droid?

Thank you in advance for your help <3

Do you use a firewall, anti-virus app or anything like that?

Hmm, I didn’t install anything special. I even disabled the checkboxes “use tor” and “activate http proxy”

@All For the record, “error getting index file” (as @lapindoux reported) is an entirely useless error when 1 has multiple repos configured

What do you mean? I don’t understand.

@lapindoux I’m not actually complaining to you, but the UI for this notification just needs reworking to be more clear.

OK, I see

But I wanted to know, how can I have my apps in F-droid?

Thank you
