Could use advice on licensing for Android Libraries

All of my libraries are published under GPL3 licenses which would require users of them to also GPL their work (to say the lease w/o getting into semantics around static/dynamically linked derivations, etc).

As passionate as I am about open source code, is that too restrictive a license for Libraries? Advice would be much appreciated.

Maybe the Libraries paragraphs are the ones you’re looking for:

https://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-recommendations.html

For more info there’s:

https://www.gnu.org/licenses/why-not-lgpl.html

And:

https://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl-3.0.html

Hope this helps.

Best regards!
