To any developers who are new to this community:
F-Droid consists of several different parts, one of which is the Android client. Over the years we have accepted code contributions from a great number of developers, however we have always been quite a small team (i.e. 2 or 3 primary developers at any one time).
If you would like to contribute in a very meaningful way but don’t know where to get started, we could always do with some extra help with reviewing changes before they get merged. We would love to have every change reviewed by at least one person, and that is causing a bit of a backlog right now.
I understand it may not be the easiest thing to jump in and review a one-line bug fix if you are not familiar with the code base. However even just a cursory glance and a little bit of digging around to see if the change seems sensible is better than nothing. If this sounds like something that would be of interest to you, then I’d be more than happy to help guide you through any pending merge requests which I’ve worked on.
