andOTP won't install - any ideas?

Trying to install andOTP on a Nexus 5 running Android 6.0.1 using F-Droid 1.3.1 newly installed and updated today, with phone restarted after install.
The failure gets a message “failed to install due to an unknown error”

anyone have ideas how to fix this?

(In F-Droid’s Installed Apps list there’s F-Droid itself and also UnifiedNlp (Location provider middleware) which I didn’t ask to be installed … is that a part of F-Droid now, or something that’s crept in?)

Thanks

Did you retry?

It shares the name (app ID) with some system component, hence F-Droid believes it’s the same.

yes I retried several times, both after a restart and also immediately after an install fail

thanks for the clarification on UnifiedNlp! Do you know how I’d discover which system component has the same app ID?

Use an app that shows them, eg. Netguard → search
